| MZInc president parachutes through storms for client | | | | Challenge: When MZInc was charged with producing a 36 page catalog that would stand out from a host of competitors by their client, they attacked it with the intensity and innovation which has become their hallmark. The location of the shoot was Ixtapa, Mexico, thirty miles north of Acapulco. Upon arrival, MZInc President and design director, Mira Zivkovich was faced with the task of finding the perfect site for the shoot covering an enormously wide area.
Solution: Rather than spend the customary three to five days surveying the surrounding area via automobile, the gutsy and creative Zivkovich overcame her fear of heights and decided to para-sail along several miles of the coast in order to collapse the time frame and scout the perfect location in one afternoon, saving several days and thousands of dollars for her client. Of course, gusting winds and an encroaching storm caused a temporary loss of control while in mid air… but not before the plucky president spotted the perfect site for the shoot.
Results: In addition to placing their creative chief in mortal danger, MZInc through cross marketing, was able to procure airtravel, accommodation at a local resort, and a guide at no cost to their client in exchange for including the names of the Krystal Ixtapa Hotel, Aero Mexico and the Mexican tourist board in the credits of the catalog. Not only was MZInc able to produce an extraordinarily unique catalog for their client, they were able to it more quickly and for tens of thousands of dollars less than budgeted. To some, parachuting through storms is excessive, at MZInc, saving their clients time and money while producing extraordinarily effective advertising is what they do on a daily basis.
